I have an Crosby saddle that was given to me and I am trying to find out more information about it.
The under side of the flap has “Quality Olympic Saddlery” ” Holberg” “1703″ “Spring Seat” & an oval with “CROSBY ENGLAND” inscribed. There is a metal tag with “Made in England”, “CROSBY” and “Olympic Works” on it. The seat has a rounded cantle and measures 16.5 inches from the front edge of the pommel to the midpoint on the edge of the cantle or 18.5 inches from the center of the “button” at the front of the skirt to the midpoint on the cantle. There are knee rolls and a sueded knee panel on the flaps. I am more familiar with western saddles and am hoping that there might be some kind of record or catalog that might give some info on this saddle. Thanks

I just purchased a used Crosby Olympic Works saddle. It is one with no knee suede, but does have a raised part at the knee, the rest of the flap is plain.

I have not gotten it yet, but am wondering during what years they were made, and if when I get it, can I email you the serial number so you tell me when this saddle in particular was made?
    Thank you for any help!
